Fear of falling? Join MAS Falls Prevention Facilitator Mandy Petersen and her super team of dedicated of dedicated volunteers for this program designed to benefit those 60+ who would like to gain the tools and confidence to reduce/avoid falls. People using walkers and wheelchairs are welcome! Participants should live independently and have the cognitive ability to build on concepts from week to week. W hat to expect: - Exercises to increase strength and balance and set goals for increased activity level - Reduce your risk of falls at home and in the community - Engage with others who share the same concerns A Matter of Balance begins on Thursday, October 22, 2026, and continues for 8 Thursdays through December 17 (no class Thanksgiving Day, November 26). Class meets in person at Greater Good Health located at 2230 North Reserve Street, Suite 110, in Missoula, MT from 1-2:30 PM. Participants who complete at least 5 of the 8 sessions will receive a graduation certificate. If you cannot attend at least 5 of the 8 classes, please consider registering for the next program, because class size is capped at 12. Registration is required.
