Japanese Calligraphy Workshop with Kei Nishino

Experience Japanese calligraphy as it is traditionally taught in Japan—beginning with grinding your own sumi ink! This two-hour workshop is led by Kei Nishino from Fukuoka, Japan. After learning the fundamentals of Japanese calligraphy and practicing traditional brush techniques, you’ll choose one of five autumn-inspired kanji and create your own artwork.
