Town Bound Birding

At 11249 Mullan Rd, Missoula, MT 59808. Join Braden Collard and Five Valleys Audubon at Council Grove. We will meet at the main Council Grove State Park parking lot at 9:30 a.m., and spend the next hour looking for riparian birds, including Lewis's Woodpeckers, as well as any migrating sparrows, warblers and tanagers that might be moving through! Walking will be easy and on established trails. Town Bound Birding's goal is to have a good time exploring the wildlife at easy to access sites in the Missoula Valley. Knowledgeable guides with spotting scopes will be on hand to point out the different species and answer questions. All are welcome!
