Wailing Aaron Jennings
Wailing Aaron Jennings is a singer and songwriter living in Missoula, Montana, and a third-generation Montanan born in Texas. His songs champion the traditions of Honky Tonk and Western Swing, inspired by a book of songs and poetry written by his great-grandfather, a singing cowboy in the 1920s. Jennings has performed across the Northwest at venues including breweries, dive bars, vineyards, and theaters.
A downtown bar and grill with real labor roots: Marcus Daly donated the land for the original Union Hall in 1896, and the club dates to 1908. Open every day 11am to 2am, live music every Friday and Saturday, usually no cover. Weeknights rotate karaoke, trivia, and DJ sets, and the bookings run wide, funk and soul one weekend, honky-tonk or a cover band the next.
