Sam Burchfield is a singer and artist from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina, brought up on Appalachian folk, gospel, country and southern soul. He later settled in Jasper, Georgia, gateway to the Appalachian Trail, and released Scoundrel in 2022.
