Ratboys are an American indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 2010 by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Julia Steiner and her partner, lead guitarist Dave Sagan. Their sixth studio album, Singin’ to an Empty Chair, was released on February 6, 2026, as their first album for New West Records.
