Fruit Bats

Fruit Bats is an American indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Singer/songwriter Eric D. Johnson is its sole permanent member, with various musicians joining in live and studio settings. Formed in 1997 as Johnson’s project, Fruit Bats released The Landfill on Merge Records on June 12, 2026. The band is scheduled to play The Wilma in Missoula on October 15, 2026.
