Brad Parsons
Brad Parsons is a singer-songwriter based in Astoria, Oregon, playing folk and country with detours into rock, blues and psychedelic Americana. Born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho, a preacher's son who grew up singing hymns in his father's church, he moved to Portland in 2008 and spent three years touring as a multi-instrumentalist and backing vocalist with Horse Feathers, playing on their album So It Is With Us. His albums include Hold True (2017) and The Starbird Sessions (2020), both made with engineer Tyler Thompson, and Slowpoke (2023); a fourth record, Basement Love Songs, co-produced with Bart Budwig, is due in 2026. He is a regular at Northwest String Summit, WinterWonderGrass and Treefort, and in August 2026 tours the Inland Northwest as a duo with Missoula's Jed Nussbaum.
